AI JSONMedic(“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Information We Do NOT Collect

Your JSON content is never stored or transmitted to our servers. All JSON repair, validation, and formatting operations are performed entirely within your browser using client-side JavaScript. We have no technical ability to see the JSON you paste into our tool.

Information We Collect

Analytics Data

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with the site. This includes pages visited, browser type, operating system, device category, approximate location (country/region level), time spent on pages, and referral source. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) to distinguish returning visitors. IP addresses are anonymized by GA4 and are not stored by us. We do not use this data to personally identify you. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Google's use of data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Local Storage

We use browser localStorage to store your last 10 JSON fix sessions locally on your device. This data never leaves your browser and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

Contact Form Submissions

If you use our contact form, we collect your name and email address to respond to your inquiry. This information is not shared with third parties and is retained for 12 months then deleted.

Cookies

We use the following cookies:

• Essential cookies: Necessary for the tool to function (theme preference, session).
• Analytics cookies: Google Analytics 4 sets cookies (e.g. _ga, _ga_*) to measure site usage and distinguish visitors.
• Advertising cookies: Google AdSense may set cookies to serve relevant advertisements. These are third-party cookies set by Google.

Google AdSense

Third-Party Services

• DigitalOcean — Hosting. No JSON content is ever logged by our hosting infrastructure.
• Resend — Contact form email delivery. Only triggered when you submit the contact form.

• Access: Contact us to request any data we hold about you.
• Deletion: Clear browser localStorage for tool history. Contact us to delete contact form data.
• Opt out of ads: Use Google Ads Settings or a browser ad blocker.

Children's Privacy

AI JSONMedic is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We will update the “Last updated” date above when this policy changes materially. Continued use of the tool after changes constitutes acceptance.
